Using your LUMLU
What vessels are recommended for sand-grain candles?
Any sturdy, heat-resistant container is perfect. We recommend using a vessel wide enough to allow for a centered melt pool, which keeps the exterior of your glass cool to the touch.
Can I use LUMLU for floating displays?
Yes! Our white candle pearls are designed to float gracefully on water. Simply layer at least 3" of white pearls over water. Please note that our colored variants are not intended for water use.

How long does a wick last?
Each wick offers approximately 12 hours of beautiful light.

How does the wick behave?
Our wicks are designed for a graceful finish. Once the wick reaches its end, it is designed to tip over and extinguish naturally, offering a thoughtful alternative to traditional fixed-wick designs.
Safety & Scents
Are LUMLU candles pet-friendly?
Yes, our plant-based elements are clean-burning and non-toxic. They have been reviewed by bird-specialist veterinarians and are safe for homes with cats and dogs.
Can I add my own fragrance?
Yes! You may add a few drops of your favorite essential or fragrance oils near the wick BEFORE lighting. Please do so with care and never add oils once the flame is active.
